I love to travel

Hi! I love travelling! I like meeting new people, learning about other cultures, experiencing new things, eating food I have never tried, and in the process becoming a better, smarter and hopefully more compassionate person. The world is a complicated place! The news boils everything down to sound bites and tends to present a negative view of the world. Being there is the only way to find out what is really happening. So here I go - on my first blog ever. I'm treating this as a travel diary. So hopefully I can record first impressions, things learned, important things, trivial things and most of all share the wonderful things this planet has to offer!
